I Love the R3!
I am just writing to praise my experience with the Caddytrek R3 and to provide an observation that I hope will help your customer support team. Should anyone complain to you about the photo-eye not picking up their movement, ask the person if they were wearing a hat and if it was white baseball cap. I usually wear a black baseball hat or a straw Panama hat. The Caddytrek follows me without any hiccups. But, last time out I wore a white baseball hat. This caused the Caddytrek to wig out, spin, lose sight of me and stop. This happened in the flat and on slopes, no matter how slow I walked, and if I zig-zagged. However, if I took off my hat, the Caddytrek had no problems following my shaved head. I tried this out on slopes, in the flat, and in different lighting conditions. No matter the situation, I concluded that the white baseball hat was the issue. Hope this helps you to avoid needless returns. I love the R3! Mike
